Sea Green and Mermaid Dreams

I love being in Maine

where the colors of the sea

blend their textural forms

with those of the land.

I bring my own colors and textures to the land- and seascape 

 that seem to fit

as well as I do in such environments~

In places where nature-made treasures can be discovered

and observed,

be the inspiration for artworks to come

and the props that produce the pleasant imaginings

 of fanciful mermaid dreams…
